 First of all you are not me, so if you don't think they should be in there then don't put yours in such a setup. Second, the pic is the very first setup the day I moved them in. Since then, I have added more hides at all levels and they are very pleased to have that much room to move.

 yo calm down that is a very large terrarium for to little carpets i house my carpets in a 20 high and they love it...learn to get along with our fellow kingsnake members thanx...

 In all honesty, I understand you defending yourself. Unfortunately, housing such small snakes in such an enclosure is not recommended and shows that you are a very new keeper or haven't been informed. I'd be embarrased to show another experienced herpetoloculturalist that i'm using a 130 gal for baby jungle carpets. A tank like that would be great for tree frogs or leaf tailed geckos. I keep my Jungle carpets is a sweater box and adult animals can either be kept in a vision, homemade cage, OR even better a habitat systems display cage would be nice and make a great display. Glass tanks just don't cut it in my opinion for MOST herps(not all). Take this as a suggestion and not an insult

 Ok, I first want to apologize to anyone that has read my last comment. But I feel that I do need to defend myself. I also have no problem with critcism, but I would like to be informed of why you think it is such a bad idea. The only things I have ever heard on the matter usually involves stress/eating. They both eat like clockwork and seem very happy that they are enclosed together in a large setup.

 They'll be fine i'm sure. Jungle carpets are so damn hardy and rarely refuse food. I guess since i'm a herp nerd with large collection a tank like that seems SO unrealistic..but to each his own..good luck

 Hi, i think cage size is good. Yes, they are little now, but eventually will grow. Plastic shoe box are usefull and easy to mantain but if you can give them more space, good!!, why not?!!I donīt understand why they disapprove it. Just keep it clean and you could add more branches and plants! Rating: 3/5

 I thouhgt I'd add why I feel some people may feel that they need to criticize your enclosure. Traditionally, snake enclosures have more surface area (crawling space) and less volume (climbing space) unless the snake is primarily aerboreal. True, you enclosure could probably have less volume but I don't think it's going to be a problem. It may be harder to thermoregulate a larger area, but as long as you provide adequate heat & humidity you should be fine. Also, a smaller snake in a larger enclosure, usually makes the snake feel less secure. Leading to problems eating and other health related illnesses. Personally, I think your tank is nicely set up. (after seeing some of your other pics w/ extra hiding spaces). Good job! Rating: 4/5

 I meant "unrealistic" for me because i'd be wasting a nice large tank by putting baby pythons in it. It would go to better use for me for something else. see what i mean?

 i think that your set up is excellent. I'm not sure if any of you knew this but alot of snakes actually live on their own in the wild! (hard to believe that they can survive without you watching their every move hunh?) Snakes who live in the wild have MUCH more room than a 130 gal tank gives them and since snakes have been around in the wild alot longer than humans I'd say that they can do okay in a large tank. I'm not doing this to piss anyone off I just get tired of people talking about what snakes "need" and making things "natural" when there are thousands of snakes that do very well on their own in much larger environments than anyone who posts here could ever provide Rating: 5/5
